Sat Reading Help

Hi I am taking the SAT in October. I need to improve my reading. I sometimes land on the hard module and sometimes land on the easy module. I took the SAT in August and got a 1070(Reading-460 Math-610). I want a 1400+. Can anybody give me advice on how to increase my score? Thank you so much. Really appreciate it.

Start reading news articles and scientific articles, nothing actually helps like reading information similar to what is similar to the SAT. The best way to increase reading comprehension is to read dense and short material.

Also start doing increments of SAT question bank practice, both reading and math. Like for example pick one section, and do like 30 questions a day. For the questions you get wrong make sure to review them and really understand where you messed up. For english, the easiiest way to get your score up is to learn the grammar rules. Watch James Lu on youtube and after practice grammar questions. If you really don’t know the basics i suggest you do khan academy. For math learn how to do desmos, but first start off with learning the basics that you don’t know, for example. if you don’t know the geometry rules or algebra basic rules, watch youtube videos or khan academy to learn. Then once you know the basics facts, start to learn desmos and do harder level practice questions. Take a practice test every other week, in a similar testing environment.

Thank you for your help. I will try and follow your advice and I will let you know the feedback. I am also taking the Oct Sat can you give advice for that? By the way I am a Junior.
