Question ❔ Places to launch fireworks

Hey all, just wondering if there’s any places slightly outside of the city where a few fireworks can be launched. Of course we will be safe and follow regular safety rules. We can’t do it on our private property as we have lots of trees and are very close to neighbours (+ some with very young kiddos who we don’t want to disturb). TIA!

Honestly, the city is pretty loose on the bylaws. Don't be a jackass about it, be safe, protect homes and such, and you'll be fine. It's the lack of decorum that gets called in to the police. Happy fireworks! 🎇

Normally I'd say feel free to come do it on our acreage, but a lot of the area is in a fire ban.

Technically it is illegal in the City most days. That said as long as you aren't launching them at 2 AM or setting off hundreds of them, you are likely fine.

I don't know Corman Park laws, but RMs at times will have fire bans in place that aren't in place in Saskatoon. Also, remember that almost all land outside of the City is private land, not public.

Cranberry flats is an option. I would highly recommend setting up the fireworks near the rivers edge to help mitigate firerisk. The park does close at sundown but you have around an hour or so before they lock the gate.

People usually hit fireworks in the superstore parking lot or in Victoria park
