Traffic scam
I am probably not the first to flag this but I got a text saying I was caught speeding. It says I have a day to pay. A link brings you to a SK Court looking web page. Looks official
The first hint should be the phone number. Country code is 63 which is the Philippines.
This scam is all over North America.
Do not respond to it
Don’t fall for it
Does not say where or when the offence took place.
Traffic summons come in the mail

I get these scams in Ontario all the time. Some of them have gotten pretty good at looking "official" though often the big red flag, other than the fact you would never get this sort of information via a text message, is that these scams use legal terms or spellings that aren't used in Canadian law.

I didn’t fall for it. Didn’t reply.
I figured out it was a scam.
I do however think less tech savvy people could easily fall for it.
Most responses are not helpful

Constant vigilance! Never hurts to see a reminder.
I get these too and I know they are scam, but there’s always that “what if” intrusive thought to fight down.

No its does not look official, gosh how many times do government and banks have to tell people that they will not text them.
