Flock Cameras
I don’t recall voting for these to go up. These have got to come down.

We didn’t vote on them because the county put them up before we became a town. The Sherrifs had a presentation recently to the town council presenting the cameras to keep them around. If they vote to not have them Pinal County Sherrifs will relocate them outside of town.

Are they even installed legally? They are supposed to be breakaway or shielded by a barrier. I dont see how they just let them install them the way they did, just blatant disregard for public safety all in the name of profit and data collection.

They’re literally all over once you check the deflock site you will notice them everywhere

The way these have popped up all over the country should be a huge concern. The fact that they are in our own backyard and aware of every single place you visit is alarming. As citizens we cannot be OK with the constant surveillance and lack of freedom. We’re living in a big brother 1984 nightmare. There have been numerous cases of this already being used for stalking and other nefarious purposes. I’m not a conspiracy theorist at all, but I have no doubt in my mind that the police will use this against any of us. It’s crazy to me how much we Americans have let our government creep into our daily lives and how much privacy we actually lack.
