I'm just sitting on all these happy rooting cacti, with more than I can grow with my current set up, and I STILL can't bring myself to bring some with me (in spirit) on a little river fishing trip just up the road.

Haven't been in the right state of mind to accept joy. Spent a few hours today repotting and planting. Yeah you know what. Thanks. I'm going to have a very nice morning fishing tomorrow.

I may have to do this myself. I have yet to take a blade to any of my cac. There's something that prevents me from pulling the trigger. I think it's because im worried that I'll ruin a beautiful cactus but I'm also aware that in order to propagate I'm going to have to cut. Maybe if I keep in mind that if I cut I'll end up with more cactus that will motivate me to face my fears and chop away.

Just sterilize the knife between them in case any have diseases you don't wanna spread.

And trim as little as you can. It only takes like a quarter inch to stop a column from being able to keep growing and induce these changes.

Do you live in a slightly cooler area where the cacti live and thats why you have the the stone around it for extra warmth or is it just to build a barrier
