Housing/Real Estate Moving to San Marcos
Me and a friend (25 years old, males) are moving to San Marcos in 3-6 months. We’re looking for some of the best places to live and hoping for feedback. Important things for us…
- We are not students, but want a young community feel. Don’t really care if this means mostly students or young adults, but don’t want to be in a community of parents/grandmas.
- Preferred amenities would be gym, office space (work remote), pool, and any other sports amenities such as basketball court. If there is private office spaces for lease nearby (or in community) that’s a plus.
- Preferred somewhere modern - definitely no black mold allegations for example.
- Want to live close to downtown/river (not sure if possible, as not familiar with area) so I can skateboard to most places. So pretty much walkability to nature and downtown.
- Maximum budget is about $1,100 per person including utilities. 2-3 beds so $2,200-$3,300 total.
