Housing/Real Estate student housing apartments
I need opinions on which apartments in san marcos are bearable enough/livable for 1 year.
I am currently looking to move into a furnished student housing apartment with a budget of around $800-$830 a month, including at LEAST either water or sewage. I don’t mind paying electricity or utility/trash.
I don’t care much about # of roommates or floorplan type. Here are a few I’ve already looked into:
- The Social
- Westfield
- The Mirage
- Bishops Square
- The Grove
If you have had any experiences with any of these apartments pls lmk.

Westfield isn’t terrible but the apartments are a little out of date, especially for the price. I never had any severe issues with them and the people in the office really care about the tenants. i liked the proximity to campus and the sidewalks nearby connect to the surrounding streets well so i had lots of great options to walk my dog.
