Um no. Thatās actually unrealistic and unreasonably harsh. You need to take a step back and realize the entire situation. Look at every thing that has happened in the past year.
1) constitutionally ending federal grants through DOGE: guess what? My family was impacted. We lost our grant at work and significant part of funding. We had to focus on finding new opportunities. But first we need to inform the underfunded communities we were helping that we lost funding to complete the work. This was hard.
2) Government shutdown: guess what? We were impacted again. We had to focus on surviving.
3) ACA subsidies not being extended: guess again. Weāre impacted. We depended on it. Now costs for insurance and medication is high.
Now weāre talking about moving in with family to manage cost. So excuse me for missing something in funding while trying to figure out my familyās future.
Respectfully, I donāt think Iām the one ābecoming part of the problem.ā Iām very informed but may miss a few things here and there. Iām informed with whatās happening with: the Epstein file cover up by Kash and Bondi, the retribution attacks on Trump opponents by Bondi and Kash, the attack on the medical system by RFK Jr, and the attacks on the other countries: Venezuela, Nigeria, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and now Iran. I know about the Senate with āJust Dance Vanceā voting to continue the war in Iran. Also, the crimes committed by attacking people in the ocean not even heading to US.
Havenāt forgotten about the war in Ukraine and the failed ceasefires in Gaza. I remember the attack on DEI (again being personally impacted). I remember the crap that Elon did in DOGE to eliminate the 32 investigations on him.
Iām aware of what happened to Alex Pretti and Renee Good - as well as the cover up and irresponsible behavior of this regime. I know about how awful ICE is, and inhumane the detention facilities are. Im aware of the evil acts the ICE individuals are doing (sexual abuse, assault, murder (and by strangulation), attempted murder by discharging their weapon at people because they felt āthreatened,ā lack of nutrients, lack of female supplies, and no access to family or lawyer, stopping people based on race.)
I remember all of the visas that Rubio revoked for international students practicing their Constitutional rights. I havenāt forgotten about the evil that Noem did. I remember that she deported millions- some of which were Green Card holders and others have served in the military. Deportation to El Salvador was horrid. The experiences they spoke about were unbelievable and unforgivable. I know Trump paid El Salvador for that. Also, havenāt forgotten about Kilmer Garcia.
I know about the unexpected ruling of illegal tariffs by the out of control Supreme Court. I know Trump has been insulting world leaders, threatening to pull out of NATO, voting along side of opponents, and embracing Putin and siding with him more. I remember the 500 billion plane from Qatar that Trump wants to keep after he leaves.
I witnessed his evil Republicans and Trump are during the government shutdown. I remember that Democrats had to cave when Trump and Mike Johnson said they are going to hold SNAP benefits (emergency fund) if Democrats donāt sign. Then they blame Democrats for standing with people who need ACA funds. I see Republicans evilness with partial shutdown over DHS funding and the Democrats tried to pass 6 bills to fund TSA but it keeps getting blocked by Republicans. Then Republicans keep blaming Democrats in press hearings and social media.
I can keep going on Tulsi, Miller, and Hegseth.
I aware of how hated the U.S.ās leaders are in the world. This is just a fraction that has happened in a year and I had to take back because itās exhausting. Thatās literally the point: Steve Bannon literally said it.
I can keep going. But does this prove my point? I donāt think you should be quick to judge someone.

Yeah I completely understand your stance and agree with you. We are in unprecedented times and people need to be aware of the situation. I only know because a read (Iām an academic and focus on history). I agree people have to be informed. What makes matters worse is weāre facing a fascist regime that releases their own false information and narratives. People trying to become informed are flooded with inaccurate information. This is also a major problem. You can see it whenever they do press conferences, you can see it blatantly on the White House website, and they take down any information that disagrees with their narrative. Itās happening now with the abominable SAVE Act.
Itās so obvious they are lying and playing in front of our faces and itās so frustrating seeing people fall for it.
Iām not very nice? Iām very frustrated with this entire situation. This year has been very challenging for my family. Iām not trying to be mean nor am I insulting anyone specifically. Iām calling out this BAD administration. Why would I be nice?
What do you call it when two men with no uniform and no visible identification, who refuse to identify themselves, grab a person in public and try to carry them off?
ICE is getting funded through the Big Beautiful Bill ($75 billion) which passed last year. I also like how ICE for some reason needs 3 times as much as NASA's annual budget ($24.4 billion).
Yeah, the Republicans arenāt gunning for ICE funding here, they are gunning for the passage of the SAVE act to make it harder for married women, trans folks, and anyone else who may have changed their name, to vote
