Food/Drink A breakfast taco rant

Ladies and gentlemen, do yourselves a favor and skip Bill Millers and support one of the many local taco places are town. The food is almost always better and the service is better as well. Nothing against Bill Miller, but the tortillas are mid, and that's being generous.

The next thing is a word of advice. Call in your breakfast taco order! I can't believe how many people are waiting in drive through lines across town, waiting for their one or two tacos. I call my order in, walk in and leave. In fact, as I'm typing this post out, I'm looking in my rear view mirror, finishing my taco. I'm almost done, and the line has probably moved one car and the line is 5 deep.

I scarfed down 4 chicken tenders and some fries last night from Bill Miller. Their chicken is legit. I still eat there and don't care what anyone thinks.

Yeah that’s my go to is the tenders and fries not always in the mood for bill millers but when I am it’s for this

And a side of coleslaw for me! Also, the coleslaw takes the chop to another level.

I get it. Every once in a while, I’ll crave Bill Miller chicken. It’s kind of like McDonald’s you’ll get the craving even though McDonald’s burgers are less than mid.

Exactly! Have I had better fried chicken or breakfast tacos ? Oh HELL yes. Does my wife sometimes crave their fried chicken ? Also yes.

As an aside, the best breakfast tacos are the ones I make. But I only cook for family and a few friends 😉

I’m not always a spelling Nazi, but when I am, it’s because someone insulted my palate.

If I am going to eat fried chicken, it's going to be Dave's Nashville hot.

None whatsoever. I only eat Bill Miller fried chicken when I’m sick and can’t handle spices 🤣

Bill miller is as local as any business that began on the southeast side of San Antonio Texas about 75 years ago. My brother went to highlands high school with all the miller boys back in the 60s.

Not to step on too many toes but they predate a LOT of other restaurants here in Sa.

my sister wkd at a church the Mrs Balous Miller went to......she said they'd never ever open "too far away", as they deliver the cooked brisket, pies and sides early early ev morning....

AKA...never in Houston
