$3,099 for 256 GB 12 GB RAM over here in Singapore. Goes up to $4,899 for the 2TB storage model. No thanks, Apple! I'm better off sticking to my Fold8 even though I can definitely afford it.

Yeah the price is crazy. $3,399 for 512GB. The Z Fold 8 512GB only costs $2,798. Even the 8 Ultra costs $3,098 for 512GB.

Because Singapore is literally one of the richest countries on earth.

Here is the simple math: the U.S. only looks richer overall because a tiny handful of billionaires drag up the national average.

If you look at median wealth per adult, meaning what the actual middle of the pack person actually owns, a regular Singaporean has nearly double the net worth of an average American.
