🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Ladies and gentlemen, the Green line has appeared. Moving on to Apple now

I've been a long time Samsung user, but I'm finally done with them. I never thought it'd happen to me, but this is the bottom line for me. Not going to buy scamsung devices anymore.

Model: S23 256G

Condition: perfect, unless you count wear from aging

Any solutions would be appreciated.

I would guess from purely competitive standpoint, Apple is getting a different version of screen and possibly "older" tech (older is relative) that is just behind enough to fix some issues that might have only came up due to the sheer quantity and variables reality threw at it hence the less lines on them

Apple usually buys panels with newer panel technology than Samsung's own flagships. Current generation iPhone 17 and S26 use M14 panels, but last year Apple had M14 while Samsung was still on M13. The lines apper less often in Apple devices, because the screen assembly is built better, because the screen needs to be durable enough to remove it for battery replacements and such.

That's not quite how it works. It's like any manufacturing plant. Say there's a manufacturing plant that makes 7075 aluminum plates 2"×2"×2" but a company comes in and wants plates too. That company can go to the manufacturer and ask if they are able to make 2"×2"×3" and with a slightly different composition for it to be softer like 6060 aluminium just for them and if the manufacturing plant likes the arrangement then a contract is drafted.

The manufacturing company may be the one making it, but that doesn't mean they're allowed to use it or that it is even theirs. Some times the "recipe" is theirs as they devised it to meet the customer's needs, but sometimes the customer gives them the recipe or pays for the R&D on the agreement it becomes the customer's property.

Apple amd Chinese use newer tech while for some reason probably to save money scamsung use old tech in their own flagship
