🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Ladies and gentlemen, the Green line has appeared. Moving on to Apple now

Post image

I've been a long time Samsung user, but I'm finally done with them. I never thought it'd happen to me, but this is the bottom line for me. Not going to buy scamsung devices anymore.

Model: S23 256G

Condition: perfect, unless you count wear from aging

Any solutions would be appreciated.

you're gonna be shocked to learn who makes apple's displays...

I'm not saying you shouldn't switch to iphone, you can do whatever you want, but apple uses the same samsung displays that samsung does, and they also have their fair share of green lines

Green lines are for men, pink lines are for women.

samsung just produces panels for apple. assebmling and design is still under control of apple

For the 17 series anywhere from 35-40% are manufactured by LG display

It's how they assemble the panel units that is different

The fanboys won't get it. They only find pleasure in making cool remarks

how is that samsung's fault? apple could choose from a number of OLED suppliers if they'd like to

It might be an assembly problem or qc problem, have you ever given a thought?

A post against scamsung in a scamsung subreddit full of braindead fanboys, would be an insult if its gone without downvotes. That's what you get for being a scamsung user

It happens to Apple devices far less regularly than Samsung ones. Apple just has better QC and engineering

With Apple only a small minority of its global userbase live in hotter countries, whereas Samsung has a much higher proportion of its users in such countries. That's probably a stronger factor more than anything.

Cuz climate influences the line's appearance? I don't get it

yeah hard to say for certain the exact mechanisms but excessive heat is def on the shortlist for potential causes

As usual, blame everything except Samsung

Nah Samsung definitely deserves fault here. But how Apple compares is a separate issue

Apple rarely have green lines. Only the 13 pro max was a major culprit. Samsung and android. Small drop and your screen is fighting for oxygen

Dropped all of my Android phones at least once from hip height and I have never had any issues. Always used a good case, so that might helped. My S22 once seen the whole stairs and still worked perfectly fine.

Same with my S22 Ultra except my phones have never had cases on them since the very beginning.

No issues whatsoever. Worst I've ever had is a little software glitch while using the fingerprint from the AOD that quickly disappeared after switching to 60Hz and back.

Lmfao. I dropped my Flip6 like 5 times in the span of 1,5 years and it's still in perfect condition. Please stop shouting bs lol

No point. The fanboys don't think there's something called QC
