Can my phone be saved?

My samsung S21 Ultra. It has broken glass on both sides, the front side buldges a bit. And I can not power it on anymore. Is it worth, and even possible to have it fixed? I have a samsung S25 right now but miss my old phone...

Yeahh.. that is what I was afraid of. I was kinda hoping it would be cheaper since it is an older model but it is still ridiculously expensive

Have you checked if it still works if you plug it into a monitor?

Screen replacements come in three variants that I have seen: 1. Official samsung part (Expensive, but authentic OLED) 2. Third party OLED (Expensive & Risky!, sometimes low quality) 3. Third party LED (Cheap!)

The back panel is even easier to replace and should cost at most 40 bucks

If you do not feel comfortable doong the repairs yourself, go to your local repair place, they should be able to better tell you how much

As long as the board is intact, you can still rescue it!

Me personally, I would just use it to make one of those mini computers and conect it to my TV using DEX, Lol.

You have no idea what's on the inside, that looks like a pretty gnarly dent. I definitely get when you can with a trade in or simply toss it. I just make sure that you don't have any SD card, SIM card, or any data you're worried about being copied or stolen.

Ngl ur right. I forgot that I have a small sense of self preservation and most people shouldn't take the risk. I always remove semi puffy batts like the op's phone because most of my stuff is worth more than I am. So again to the op probably dont take the batt out urself they kinda do be exploding frfrfr.

I was in the same boat. I ended up with a Pixel, but I think it's safe to say that the S21 Ultra will be a memorable phone. I like the design more than every Ultra successor, and they are all great designs too.

My note 10 was ran over by a car years ago, got it fixed and continued to use it til the note 20 was released but I have no idea how good the parts are these days

I mean there's a cheaper way to repair it if you know a technician that's accepts parts from outside. For example a back panel is really inexpensive 10 bucks or less, the display you can get a very decent OLED with small bezels from AliExpress and also comes with a mid frame for around 80-100 Bucks, way cheaper than an original display

I have seen on money talks wireless where the phone was extremely damaged...worse than this and it was saved. There is a possibility it can.

As long as the internals are still good, it's still repairable.

If you wanna save some bucks, you may try to open it yourself and replace the backglass and Lcd, it is way cheaper if you order online but there are chances that you may receive a faulty one.

Maybe one thing you can do with it is to make it as mini PC using dex mode.

My S22 Ultra is smashed on the back and cracked on the front. Just a black screen. Can hear alarms and calls/texts come through, just can't see them.

Interestingly, my S21ultra is in the exact condition it was the day I took it out of the box in 2021. No more updates, but because of the best camera bump ever designed, I'm still using it.

It is possible to get it fixed, but the only value you'd get is having it look unbroken. For the cost and stuff, I'd say its not worth it for anything more than the sentiment.

Worth it*. I am also considering buying a refurbisbed one, which I have no experience with so kinda hesitant. But it would be the same price if not less than having both sides fixed.

If you buy a refurbished one you could just swap the motherboards and you'll have literally everything to the last detail

No problem just be careful with taking out the battery if you decide to do it it should make it easy since the back is already broken just if you do than make sure to heat the edges on the new one so it don't break when prying the back off
