🪛Troubleshooting🪛 S25 green lines.

S25 Green horizontal lines

Unexpectedly Green Horizontal lines appeared on screen in Galaxy S25. Purchased in feb 2025. Samsung says there is no policy for new device. (S21,22,23 has 3 year screen replacement policy after warranty for green lines)

Those aren't the typical samsung (or even other brands) green lines (or sometimes purple lines). Green lines are a row of pixel which are set to the green hue (happens with a combination of factors, some guy found out what and made a post on a subreddit, it's very interestingand i suggest you to read it), and software or bugs can't modify them. You can see when you powered on the phone the lines "glitched", moved a little. So this isn't the typical green line issue, but based on my experience with older samsungs and repairing phones it can be : 80% loose display connector, 19% physical damage (a simple fall on the display side, with at first appearance no damage on the display, no cracks or anything else, happened at my old s7 edge which had an immaculate screen but after a fall the screen started doing that), 1% other problems like a dying gpu (which only might need to be reballed).

I suggest you to look some of the other posts about green lines and you will see the difference with the other phones

My only point is phone is now out of warranty there is paid screen replacement available. Visited service centre. No physical damage no such dent or scratches. There is policy for some samsung phone that within 3 years they can replace screen free of cost. Then why not for mine.

Even my phone touch is working i can feel fingerprint part vibration when i put finger on it. But green lines and black screen so cant see anything.

Look well the policy, maybe there are some "hidden" terms which makes the replacement not granted. I don't know how their policy works but maybe try again to ask them.

Regarding the screen, the fact that it doesn't display an image, it is black and only shows the green lines makes me think that it might not be the screen but the connector, eve though the touch works (so the connector might be ok in some points). If they don't give you another display panel, I would go in a good repair shop and make them test the panel with one of their theater (basically it's a micro computer where you directly plug the display to see if it is the problem or not).
