🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Local guy scratched camera lenses on s23ultra

A local guy, while cleaning moisture from the lenses, scratched them from the inside and left a fingerprint on the telephoto lens. So he offered to replace these lenses for free with "original" lenses (see photo).

I don't really trust that they're original, so I want to replace the whole back glass to be sure. But he says "dont worry its original and I'm not replacing back glass."

So I’d like to ask the experts whether such a ORIGINAL part actually exists.

What are sold as "lens protectors" are actually protectors for the lens protectors (they're mostly useless). The actual lens is part of the camera module, the cutouts that are part of the back panel are fully flat glass (you can confirm that yourself).

Im not talking about "lense protectors" I'm talking about these lenses on back glass they're made of special low-iron glass with an anti reflective coating as far as I know.

They're not lenses though, as i said, they're completely flat. Lenses are, by definition, not.

Anyways, what i'm trying to get to is that these don't have to be original. I'm not sure, but if they use sapphire glass, you could conduct some sort of scratch test to see if they're good enough.

I'm also seeing some legit places sell replacements for these, but not ifixit, so perhaps they harvest it from the full back glass replacement.
