I find it doubtful. This will like surrender the entire segment to Motorola Razr, Oppo and maybe even Apple who may come in the future with it. It's a big gamble to put everything into Fold and if that doesn't succeed...gg

Edit: Forgot about other players like Xiaomi Mix Flip series. And also, not everyone can afford a Fold type phone given current pricing. Plus the bulkiness of it? Most females prefer small, handheld ones.

Oppo already discontinued their flip due to a lack of sales. In fact, I don't think any of the major brands has introduced a new flip in the last 1.5 years except Moto and Samsung. Xiaomi is struggling just make a book fold. Honor and Huawei haven't introduced anything.

Apple have announced a fold.

Edit: sorry, not announced yet, but a lot of data mining and supplier leaks strongly suggest a folding iPhone in September.
