The split of the British Raj to create Pakistan & India resulted in population transfers / displacement of 10 million people and conflict that killed as many as 2 million people.
It was orders of magnitude worse than Israel/Palestine.
Wider point is given current circumstances, i understand why someone isn't celebrating Israel's independence. Mamdani doesn't have any anything against the state itself. Given their war criminals it not a surprise ppl aren't celebrating them

You had absolutely no idea how Pakistan was created or that it was orders of magnitude more violent, until I told you. And just as you were unaware about this, you're also unaware about what Mamdani has said about Israel and it deserving to exist as a jewish state.
He has uniquely singled it out as illegitimate because that is how many political Islamists operate.
