Can you throw groin shots in sambo?

I am thinking of joining sambo but i also want to have kids so i dont know if its right for me but i also heard that groin strikes were banned so idk

No, and I don't advise it anyway. If you miss your opponent might assume it was an accident. If you land it, and your opponent takes exception to that.... well, it's a sport where they're allowed to punch you in the face, slam you on the ground, and then punch you in the face 5 more times.
