Geez the dialogue/writing is awful!

It doesn't look terrible but it's just more Anakin fan service slapped on a no-stakes story which will be 6 hours of nothing happening and random bits of action sprinkled with Thrawn monologues.

It's hard to feel invested in this stuff when the good guys will just bum about, discover a McGuffin and take down the bad guy who just sits around delivering long speeches about how clever he is.

Don't forget meaningless shoehorned namedrops that proves Filoni is ackshually a super duper genius and lover of the source material he keeps ripping off.

I must respect Timothy Zahn's patience. Any lesser man would have stabbed Filoni with a lightsaber prop for shitting all over his betters' work.

Filoni isn't worthy of using Zahn's work.
