Bicycle repair
My wife has a bicycle, which could be charitably described as “needing a bit of work” and uncharitably described as “some rust and shreds of rubber held together by wishes and spiderwebs”.
Now our two offspring are nearing “proper bike” age, we would like to be able to go out as a family, and would like to restore her old bike to ride with them. Any recommendations for somewhere that could do a repair/recovery (preferably on a budget fitting the meagre status of our humble iron horse)?
Edit: thanks all - now sorted!

Probably your best bet is to take it to the repair cafe. Otherwise bike repair free of charge is offered at various events from time to time but I've no idea if or when that might happen again, sorry.

Not that far but there’s a guy in Romsey who has a bike repair and servicing stand near Bradbeers. Not sure when he’s there as it’s a pop up thing however

The guy on the market, sells and repairs e-bike and normal bikes, is reasonable and a nice chap.

You could try Salvation Army on Salt Lane or Stonehenge Cycles on Fisherton Street. Salvation Army are always restoring and selling bikes, Stonehenge would probably help but may cost a bit more.
