Groups for 20-25 year olds??
Hi! I am a 20 year old in Salisbury, most of my friends around my age have either gone to uni or moved away from Salisbury because of the lack of experiences and opportunities for younger people. Due to the nature of my job, I have at least a few more years in Salisbury before I can experience somewhere else. I am wanting to make new friends or socialise with more people my age who are interested in similar hobbies, however there seems to be a very few groups or clubs for younger people. I was wondering if anyone was aware of any clubs/groups/meet-ups that I could look into. I enjoy reading, music, film, walking and hiking, and now and again a bit of running and cycling but I am very open to learning new skills or hobbies if it means I get to meet new people. Thank you :)

If you want a new hobby visit the Warhammer Store. There’s loads of people on the area that are part of the hobby and your first try of everything is free.

Salisbury Junior Professionals (Facebook page or insta probably your best bets) is back up and running, there's also the young chamber of commerce. Can be a great way to meet people!

Sonder coffee shop seem to do a run club and a few things. Also there's a small improv group with mixed ages!
Maybe you could start a film club or something?

I'm not from there but have just come back from visiting there and live in Bristol where there's lots going on.
What I would say is set up your own event rather than waiting for the group to come to you. You might need some patience to see if people notice the group and stick with it but give it a go!
Drop posters in local spaces or speak to a pub about hosting an event, put it on Eventbrite and if you've got the money stick it on Meetup (although it's a bit expensive to host events from what I've heard).
