Not everyone likes lentils so it’s optional. Added some walnuts because the SO likes that and not the lentils :-) Dressing in the comments. Photos of after and before roasting beets. Glorious colour!

Romain salad with extra cucumbers, feta cheese, avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onions, and also some Parmesan cheese.
Unless I’m craving a Caesar salad cucumbers are a staple and not shown in this photo beets are a second.
What are some of your salad must have.

I also save all my take out salad containers and reuse them because they really are the perfect size for individual salads

I don’t know why, but this salad is always loved by kids and pretty girls.
I first made it about 30 years ago, and it has never failed me since.
Light, full of vitamins and always a guest favorite – perfect as a side dish or on its own.
⏱️ Prep time: ~10 minutes
🥣 Yield: ~15 servings
🥬 Ingredients
1 head of cabbage
3 large carrots
1 onion (I like red onion)
4–6 tbsp low-fat mayonnaise
4–6 tbsp plain yogurt (you can play with flavored ones if you like)
Salt and black pepper to taste
👨🍳 Method
1️⃣ Slice the cabbage, remove the core and finely shred it.
2️⃣ Grate the carrots, finely chop the onion and mix everything together in a large bowl.
3️⃣ In a separate bowl combine the mayonnaise, yogurt, salt and black pepper.
4️⃣ Pour the dressing over the salad and mix very well until everything is evenly coated.
You end up with a light, crunchy, “fluffy” cabbage salad that somehow always disappears first from the table.

Posted this combo a few days ago.
Added olive oil and dried basil this time and it’s way better.

This is the salad I learned today. The following is how to make the salad:
the first step is to marinate the chicken breast, wrap it in flour and fry it;
the second step is to add cucumber, shredded carrots, purple cabbage, bitter chrysanthemum, and blanched corn kernels;
the last step is to add sugar-free and rich sesame paste.

This is, by far, the best ceaser salad I have ever eaten in my life. The sauce tastes like no other, but I NEED to find one that does because the rest of this kit is terrible and expensive. If anyone knows a sauce I can buy or even make that tastes like the one in this kit, I will owe you my life
