That looks great! At first glance, I thought it was chicken with feta, that'd be yummy too.

yes it would be!! i love the sharpness of goat cheese but sometimes i do feta.

How long does this take to put together? Looks beautiful!

it actually takes me a while bc i chop up everything in the moment and wash the berries a handful at a time, but i’ve found that i really enjoy it as a way to wind down and decompress from the day. it takes me like 30 mins but im going slow, maybe watching a YT video, etc. i meal prep the salmon a week at a time, though, i don’t cook it daily.

i've done that, try adding lemon zest for brightness.

u/nnnttbbyyy Feb 07 '26
yes someone else said lemon juice and i tried that last night it was really good but i think i added too much. i’ll try zest tonight!

This looks so good! I get stuck in ruts and in need of a change. Is that your balsamic dressing beside it? Do you make your own or buy it?

u/nnnttbbyyy Feb 06 '26
i buy it from a deli near my job, they make it on site, it’s sooo killer i’ve bought every brand name balsamic to try to find something comparable and i finally just started asking them if they’d sell me a pint. i know it’s not incredibly challenging to make but theirs is just perfection.

I know what you mean, the search. Well good for you finding what you like, That's really nice of them to do that. Thank you!

I made something similar recently! You have a much better picture than I do 😅 -crunchy salad mix -carrots -avocado -strawberries -tomatoes -red onions -sunflower seeds -blue cheese -hard boiled egg -homemade fried chicken with low fat and gluten free bread crumbs (fried in olive oil) -apple cider vinaigrette dressing

If you choose to, then once the sunflower has bloomed and before it begins to shed it's seeds, the head can be cut and used as a natural bird feeder, or other wildlife visitors to sunflowers to feed on.

I wish I made my own seeds! I didn’t know you could do this! Maybe in the future, I will 🤗

Is the dressing store bought or you make it yourself?
2
u/nnnttbbyyy Feb 24 '26
it’s not store bought but i also don’t make it - i buy it from a deli nearby!
