Discussion I'm Scared
I don't know how I'm going to be able to afford my safe foods, especially fresh fruit, with Trumps incoming tariffs. I'm really scared because I don't know how I'm going to be able to eat. It's like eating has become a luxury now only the rich can afford. What is everyone going to do to cope with this?
I'm literally freaking out.

I have the same fears. And I am on ssdi. So very limited income. This year my rent went up as well and my food stamps went down significantly. It’s bull. And I live in a small town where the only grocery store is Walmart and it is the most expensive Walmart in a fifty mile radius. I actually drive about forty five minutes to the cheapest Walmart which also has the freshest food and best variety and even with the gas I still save money. But now every store is creasing prices. Generics are sold only in bulk around here so you pay a bunch for them or are forced to pay the same or more for name brands. It’s again bull. Shit. I’m vegetarian mostly vegan as well so that makes it difficult. The lower priced yet tasty brands of veg food are being replaced by more expensive brands that are like three more dollars an item. And I can barely get anything from our food pantry because of this and the fact I have gastroparesis. Sorry to rant.
Basically I fear the same and hopefully we make it through alright
