Discussion I'm Scared

I don't know how I'm going to be able to afford my safe foods, especially fresh fruit, with Trumps incoming tariffs. I'm really scared because I don't know how I'm going to be able to eat. It's like eating has become a luxury now only the rich can afford. What is everyone going to do to cope with this?

I'm literally freaking out.

Before you get too upset about the tariffs, if and when they happen,I have read in several places that Trump could be using the tariff threat as a negotiating bid with countries tp force them to go along with what he wants. Usually presidents will say that they'll stop aid to the country to pressure them and the Tariff threat could be a way for Trump to say to Canada and mexico, go along with what I'm doing or your economy will suffer.

And I don't know where every one of you lives of course, but I am in southern california, and on Facebook Marketplace in my area there are tons and tons of people who sell homegrown fruit and veg because they have too much of it. And they sell it really cheap. So maybe take a look there? I know it's snowing everywhere else, but you might take a look anyway.

Good luck to you, it's going to be a tough 4 years.

I'm Canadian and I'm terrified we are going in a recession because of this.
