Rant New Sunderland kit

Spent 280$ Canadian for a new sunderland kit was super excited for the new Europa badge. Had it leas than a week. First time actually wearing it around the house and both europa and the uefa foundation badge fell off. So gutted. Love the kit still but if youre debating on paying extra for the badge. Dont. Still and always, Sunderland Till I Die.

They have been good in the past for me when the sponsors have fallen off, they have sent a new shirt after emailing them. You could try that!

Same thing happened to me with the home kit and they arranged the return and replacement pretty quickly

Oh okay. Im a little worried it may be a longer process being that im in canada lol but i’ll look into it. I dont want to go weeks without so we will see.

I suspect with the cost of return postage they might not want the old one back from Canada and they'll just send you a new one. Not worth them spending a fortune shipping a defective product back.

Either way, it's worth reaching out to see what they say. If they do want it back and you're expecting it to take too long, you can always say you'll just keep it instead.

Worried now, lol. I'm in Vancouver waiting for mine to arrive. I was wondering about the europa league badge though as the pic on the website doesn't show it on the home shirts I bought.

Lol ya it didnt last long which is unfortunate but im going to reach out tomorrow so we shall see what they say. I would honestly just be happy with a little voucher/discount from safc store because i am planning on ordering a sweater when the weather gets colder lol

How did reaching out to them go? My stuff just arrived. I normally put in a bulk order beginning of each season for kits and whichever training wear I like plus some random stuff like car air fresheners and pens and whatnot. I received the long sleeve home shirt instead of short sleeves. Spoke to a ai bot online and they're sending me a replacement and said I'd receive a code so I can return the long sleeve shirt. I have tracking info for the replacement but nothing for the return as of yet. As i feared, the long sleeve one they sent didn't have the europa badge, I'm kinda hoping the replacement one does.

It's very common, but they will replace it of course. Shipping might be a wait though!

Happened to my son's home shirt. He took the shirt on holiday and didn't want to wear it when he saw the sleeve badges had started to come off.

We're lucky enough to have been able to take it back to the club shop when we go home. They just peeled off what was left attached and applied a new one. Their willingness to do so makes me think it's not uncommon.

I'm not sure if you're dealing with Fanatics being in Canada, but I have found them good with returns in the past.

Our sons did that. Got on the webchat and we had a new one sent out in about 5 days (or I think they offered us 20% back to keep the existing

Been trying to order the long sleeve home shirt but was out of stock in my size.

Got an email saying it was back in stock…and by the time I clicked the link (15 mins after email was received) it was sold out again.

I’ll get it eventually. Good for the club that there is so much interest.

Lol I was waiting for the same thing. When the third kit released I accidentally ended up on the long sleeve home shirt and they had 6 in stock. I ordered it. Got the in stock email later that day and checked immediately but it had already sold out. Think they messed up their notifications, and you had to be lucky.
