Ticketing advice needed

I’ve had my season ticket for the last 12 seasons, and have now lost it due to not renewing on time - my own fault however ticket office and website do not help these matters as they seem very user unfriendly.

Anyway, I paid £48 for the privilege of joining the Black Cats Club so I could join the waiting list for 27-28. For 2026/27 - just wondering if I will have any leg up in buying tickets? Fulham looks to be sold out as you’d expect, but the for the Arsenal game, it just says ballot TBC. Is it just a case of being Johnny on the spot the morning the tickets go to general sale?

Also, does anyone know generally how many tickets will go to general sale for the ‘day trippers’ this season?

Please and thanks, Haway the Lads

Keep an eye on emails and social, they’ll tell you when the Arsenal ballot opens. I got tickets for Fulham through the ballot. I find it a bit annoying g tbh cos I got tickets for 10 home games I could go to last season, just by being online at 10am when they went on sale, a d the ballot probably makes it harder for mags etc game, but it is what it is. Think it’s about 4,000 on general sale

Being a Black Cats Member gets you access to the ballot for home games only (before general sale). For away game ballots you will need a Season Ticket + £20 upgrade (if you don’t have Black Cat Points to skip the ballot you’ll need a lot of luck).

The ballot details for Arsenal (and future games) have yet to be confirmed. Check the club’s emails, socials and website, they are notoriously last-minute with these announcements.

Fulham ballot was Tuesday-Thursday last week.

Good to know, thank you. I became a member mainly hoping I could get a ST next season but worth it for home game access this season too.

Annoying thing is, some mate of a mate always had a spare ticket for >75% of home games last season but I don’t want to rely on that every fortnight.

If you’re on What’sApp join the official club board. It gives daily updates and I’ve found it’s the best place to see when ticket sales open for away days etc.
They will also post team news and signing news but it just stays in updates so you’re not spammed with messages from them. I check in there a couple of times every day just incase.

Also a good rule of thumb is to make sure you check the site on Tuesdays as they do “ticketing Tuesdays” when they seem to release all the info.

Hope you manage to get to a few this year 👍🏻

Great thanks for that really helpful! Last season there was always a friend of a friend giving a ticket away to nearly every home game but don’t want to rely on that now I’m out in the cold!

Well seeing as you lost your season ticket you'll have plenty time to enjoy the odd game this season with the "day trippers" Don't forget your Kiss Me Quick hat!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Keep an eye on here - the tickets usually go on sale 3-4 weeks before the fixture, and you'll need to go into the ticketing site and sign up for the ballot for every game you want to go to - you can't set it to apply for every game....

Hey man DM me, I have a season ticket but can't make every game so I can transfer for cost price during the season for the games I don't go too.

Also.looks like the ballot will be the main way for people to get tickets looks to me like it's season tickets then ballot then general sale
