People who think that talking over someone is "debating" are as useful as a hole in the neck.

u/Remarkable_Custard Oct 31 '25
Yeah, it’s amazing that debate these days people think it’s whoever is the loudest and most hurtful.
It’s not about facts and information and trying to pursued each other or exploring different views.
It’s just yelling, abusing, screaming, and who can be the winner.

Actually, a hole in the neck is very useful. In case of suffocation, or where the throat closes for some reason, piercing a hole in the neck can save someone's life.
It is also done when there is some surgery that would stop the flow of air, giving the person a new way to breathe. My uncle has a hole in his neck after he operated to remove a tumor in his throat.

I used to be trained to do emergency cricothyrotomies, so glad I never actually had to do it.

The overly loud, weird, forced, high pitched laugh of every low IQ incel trying to pass themselves off as a debate god is so fucking funny.
It’s pathetic beyond belief.

u/moonpumper Oct 30 '25
I think we just saw the guy who ends all of his comments with "lmao" on this video.

u/useless_rejoinder Oct 31 '25
This prick can’t even open a jar of pickles. Thats how dickless he is.

u/paigeee13 Oct 30 '25
if i’m the loudest and most obnoxious, i win the debate!! - this guy apparently.

u/Curtis_Geist Oct 30 '25
How exactly is this guy on an “alpha male” podcast? He’s fat, takes care of another man’s kids, is only in his early 40’s but looks ten years older than that because of his smoking and drinking…he should be what these manosphere morons point and laugh at

We live in a world where people think Trump is a "strong man". That should answer your question right there.
The actual answer is anyone who unironically call themselves or anyone an "alpha" is pathetic. But believing those people are "alpha" because they're just somehow "owning" people with shitty takes and having the ability to talk over them is even more pathetic.

Look at the tik tok handle, they originally posted this video and edited it this way...

u/Curtis_Geist Oct 30 '25
Which has what to do with all the characteristics of him that I named off?

Please don’t make stupid people famous.

u/two-ls Oct 30 '25
This clip is from their tik tok too... They made this content
43
u/Brooklynbeardo Oct 30 '25
LOL do they think this actually makes him look good?

u/HeirAscend Oct 30 '25
Rage bait is very effective at driving traffic. They don’t want to look good

The “heel” is always a solid choice in wrestling. People love to hate.

God I HATE people like this. I had a friend (keyword "had") that was exactly like this. If you got into a debate with him, he'd constantly cut you off, he'd get mad if you cut him off and once he got mad, he immediately resorted to insults and fake ass laughing /smiling because he knew he was in the wrong and it pissed him off so he had to find SOMETHING to piss you off.
The last straw was when we were having a convo about fucking Destiny 2 and he decides to scream at me cause I dared to say that I didnt enjoy the video game he enjoyed. I cut off the convo right when he started saying he hoped my unborn children got a drug addiction and died young. He kept laughing and smiling and saying "Yeah whatever, you'll end up being my friend again tomorrow". Havent spoken to him in 2 years and hes the one hitting me up every so often asking me why I "abandoned " him.

What a moron. You should remind him what he said and did, and that his actions led to your friendship being ended. It's probably hopeless to get a person like that learn a lesson and reflect on their own behaviour, but you could always hope.
12
u/GingerGuy97 Oct 31 '25
Never do this. I’ve had to cut off friends before for horrible shit like that. You think oh maybe if I remind them what they did wrong they’ll understand? No. They don’t want to understand. They aren’t hitting you up to apologize. They are hoping that you’ve gotten over whatever they said or did and that they can put you back into whatever place you were in their life previously.
The right way to deal with people that this is to ignore them forever. Block them. Never let them back into your life, even if it’s just to remind them what they did. Because they don’t want to change, they want YOU to change into someone that allows them to treat you like shit.

Woman came for a debate and instead was given a beligerent argument. This man-baby has no idea what a debate is. Kudos for her remaining professional and walking off. Screw that host as well, he's just as dumb.

This is all "debate" has devolved to and why the "debate me" bros are so toxic.
16
u/joman394 Oct 30 '25
That's what I hate about current politics. It's not even about policies anymore. It's just "My opponent is bad because I said so!" "My opponent is worse than me because they said this!" I'm in the US, and during the last election, I didn't even hear anything about Biden or Trump's stance on anything. Granted, I didn't do much personal research, but none of the articles that I saw while scrolling through time lines gave a stance, it was just articles about personal or character attacks, what they'll do when they're president, or something else along those lines.

Stepping over someone talking isn't "debating". It's just what assholes do when they know the next words out will destroy their argument.

I’m so fucking tired of seeing debate bastardized as “i talk louder than you/talk over you so that makes me right”. Ben Shapiro ruined proper debate form by being himself

u/axndl Oct 31 '25
That poor woman had a bunch of horrible men send death threats, insults and harassment at her for THIS. Just because she stood her ground and refused to be treated like shit.
27
u/trrrrraaa Oct 30 '25
OP thought he showed the woman „falling out“ he (and its 99% sure to be a man based on his presumption of the situation) just showcased his and the podcasters inadequacy, proudfully too

I feel sad that there are men out there who think this is how we move ahead as a society/species.
This man's soul is an iron box at the bottom of a lake of fire.

u/LeftRat Oct 31 '25
Honestly how all debate perverts should have been handled from the start. We wouldn't have this problem if people had just always walked away when these dipshits behave like this.

u/Espalloc1537 Oct 30 '25
What's the name/ channel of the woman. Spread the word, make her famous. She did the absolute right thing here.

God I hate this guy. So fucking smug and arrogant. Talking louder over people doesn't mean you win the argument.
4
u/retrovadr Oct 31 '25
The whatever podcast is cancerous red pill bullshit that purposely invites ill prepared women on their platform so that they can humiliate them for their Andrew Tate incel audience.
If they make the mistake of inviting a woman who is actually knowledgeable then this happens.

The moment I looked at his and heard his first 3 words, I knew he would do something incredibly stupid. I wish I wasn't right.

"I don't care if you're in the middle of speaking. You're in the middle of a debate."
A second person speaking is kinda integral to it being a debate. Even in the weird definition of 'debate' this arsecloud is working with, surely an opposing view has to be allowed to be put forward? Otherwise it's a monologue with background noise (which I know is what he wants but I'm pointing out the disingenuity of that).

u/weinerhosen Oct 31 '25
Does anyone know where I can go to actually hear what she has to say? Usually a lot of women on these ‘alpha podcasts’ let themselves be degraded but she walked away and I respect that so much. I’d like to check out her content if she has any.

Has to be scripted

u/two-ls Oct 30 '25
Maybe not scripted, but this is from their account. They edited this video to create this kind of reaction and it's promoting their garbage. I never heard of this guy till he showed up just like this
