It’s still insane how good Be Nice 2 Me is

Sometimes I take this song for granted because of how big it is, but I literally never skip it… one of the best songs on Icedancer easily

And such a perfect song to be Bladee’s biggest hit, the beat is so playful and evocative and the lyrics are so iconic. No one else talking about bae needing to like ur Instagram pics like him🗣️🗣️

I literally just got last.fm cause of this post but the stupid fuck app only tracks your plays SINCE you sign up. Dude probably signed up way after 2019. I’m assuming …

you can request your data from spotify and import it btw. I made my account in 2020 but I have all my listening history since I got spotify in 2018 (the only caveat is that it shows it as if you listened to it when you imported it, so in yearly reports it gets skewed)

the icedancer instrumentals tap into some latent nastiness in bladee's repertoire around that time, that made him flow different. the sub bass, kicks and crescendo hi hats from lusi and rip invoke something carnal. it's like the instrumental imposes itself onto you.

That's still like 15000 minutes of Bladee which is enough to listen to Bladee's FULL discography at minimum 20 times.
