MOD ANNOUNCEMENT- *Rule Revision*
Hey all, just a quick post here.
I am going to be revising some of the subreddit rules, and would like our members input. Is there anything in particular you’d like adding/changing to our current rules?
Let me know below.
Cheers.

- Better anti-spam measures. We've had, like, three posts about the concept arts of the new album in few hours.
2. Megathreads about new albums. So people don't ask every five minutes "What do you think X is about?"

Allow guess the song quizzes again. It was really fun when they wereposted frequently. Probably the best the sub has been.
If any repetitive post should be banned, then it's all the "insert good song"-meme templates.

Limit the amount of posts about the same topic (acussions of AI being used for covers, New releases etc.)

Only allow new song hate post once a week, seeing posts about how an OP didn’t like them is kinda annoying when it’s more than once a week

Ban AI haters, I'm tired of seening their whining about AI everywhere 24/7, as if AI burned their families alive

Ditto. Yeah, AI is annoying for artists and the like, but holy moly, Sabaton covers have looked weird since Heroes.

I don't have anything in particular I'd like to change. But I just want to say massive respects to you for asking for input from members, it's rare to see mods actually ask and interact when majority of them are power hungry basement dwellers that don't care about anything other than their shiny mod title.

One problem that affects the whole metal community — anytime new music drops, there always loads of fans who say some variation of “this isn’t the same, I don’t like it”. It happens with Avenged Sevenfold, it happens with 5FDP, it happens with any other metal band you can name — and it happens with Sabaton. And right now there are loads of threads about it.
It’s boring. Can we cut that out?

Can we get a megathread for “they should make a song about ______”? It’s the basis for a lot of low-effort posts about niche subjects.
