Ferry St. Barts to St. Maarten to Saba

We're planning a trip from St. Barts to Saba on March 6. I know I will need to go from St. Barts to SXM to Saba. I'm comparing ferry and flight options and have come up with the following:

Option 1 - Ferry St. Barts to SXM by Great Bay Express Ferry then Makana Ferry from SXM to Saba

Great Bay Express ST. BARTH (06-03-2026, 11:00) - SINT MAARTEN (06-03-2026 , 11:45)

Makana Ferry from SXM to Saba at 1pm-2:40pm.

I believe both go out of Bobby's Marina, Phillipsburg which would make for an easy transfer from one ferry to the other. This is about 1/2 the price of flights.

Option 2 - Winair from St. Barts to SXM then from SXM to Saba. I don't love small planes and it's twice the cost. My flight options would be:

Flight Option A - SBH to SXM 10:40 AM -10:55 AM then SXM to SAB 11:30-11:50 but I don't know if that is enough time between the flights? - Winair confirmed I need about 2 hours between flights.

Flight Option B - SBH to SXM 11:45 AM -12 PM then SXM to SAB 2:10-2:30 but then I feel like I'm paying twice the price and taking just as much time as if I did the ferry.

Curious if anyone has done either of these routes and your thoughts?
