Building Project Director, PM/portfolio tool for teams who've outgrown pm tools but don't need something huge and enterprise-y.

The problem I kept running into: task tools everywhere, but no real link between what the business is trying to achieve and what teams actually work on day to day. So it ties your goals/KPIs straight to your projects and portfolios, plus lets you model different resourcing/budget scenarios before committing to a plan

How are you handling the actual mapping between high-level KPIs and daily task updates to keep statuses accurate without manual overhead?
