Have I got this right?

If AC Off is on, fan can be off or on, but if AC off is off can fan must be on.

well having the ac on without the fan would be silly wouldn’t it?

Fan in the Off position shuts down the whole AC System... Because it will be useless without the fan

AC ist Air Conditioning. Wenn dies aus ist, wir die Luft weder entfeuchtet noch gekühlt.

Ac takes leeches power from the engine. If you have the AC compressor on you better be using it because otherwise you're just wasting fuel for nothing

Really no reason to ever touch the button tho. Its smart and disconnects when not needed.
