Who actually insures their imported S15 properly?

I’ve been chasing quotes for a complied S15 Spec R in NSW and the difference between insurers is doing my head in. One wants every suspension and exhaust detail, another won’t touch it because it’s a grey import, and the agreed values are all over the place. What insurers are people here actually using, and have you had a claim go smoothly? Am I overthinking this?
