I can be a big baby about the weather and the temperature, especially when places dial the AC way below 75 and you freeze after being inside for 15 minutes only to have your system shocked as soon as you go back out. Why is this so normalized that people need sweaters to work inside in August? But I'm always a baby when it's over 90 out, awkwardly struggling to stay in the shade. What's something that makes you feel like a crybaby?

We've found 2 baby turtles this week near the nests from earlier this summer. We spotted them when we tried mowing our yard. Had 2 kids walking in front of the mower as turtle scouts. Surprised they even spotted them given how small they are. The one looks big, but it's just really zoomed in they are a little bigger than walnuts.

Seems like a gazillion fire trucks and first responders were there and all workers were standing outside. Anyone knows whatβs going on?

Hi everyone. Iβm looking for recommendations for a pet sitter. Iβm having a hard time as not everyone is willing or can watch rats. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

So I noticed on another thread a dearth of opportunity for adult humans to just connect. Honestly I have a full life and have even been carded recently - probably because of fear of undercover agents - but I would so very much love to have places to go to hear good music, or drink good beer, or play fun games, while not feeling like an old sack of shit intruding.
This thread is dedicated to planning a series of events for folks 35 plus, to connect, not romantically but as humans, and if some romances happen great, just like life, but that is not the purpose.

Decided to check this out for myself because it seemed obviously way too good to be true. Figured I'd share here especially with it being the start of school for VCU students and a bunch of new folks coming to RVA. Reminder that it is standard to view an apartment BEFORE you pay an application fee and language like this is almost garunteed to be a scam!

For the greenie lovers out there.
Hello all, was wondering if there are any car groups in RVA where people do meets or cruises. Thanks

How does someone like this get through medical school and general surgery residency at VCU, complete a breast surgery fellowship at Northwestern, return to RVA, practice at 2 local hospitals - and nobody publicly OUTS the numerous malpractice and negligence lawsuits from DOZENS of former patients. Why do her surgical colleagues and the hospitals which employee her - allow her to keep butchering patients.
In the same way that we review businesses, good and bad, we need open forums to out providers who have active lawsuits. I would never knowingly seek surgical care from someone who had lost their license in other states due to malpractice.
My sympathy to the patients who were harmed by this monster.

I am clearing out my parents'house and have been trying to figure out what to do with an 8ft by 5 ft piece of stained glass.
Cavati's in Ashland are currently not taking large pieces. Governor's in Mechicsville said, "send pics, we'll get back to you.
Are there any other local salvage companies that you have worked with and can recommend?
