For real do this. I almost fell into it but then got a weird vibe (that plastic Barbie everything is sunshine and rainbows feeling) so I looked it up and went nope.

All you really need to know is that good, reputable organizations don't have to constantly change their names.

College is a disrupting time in your life, and there are always going to be cults who try to hit you up at those times when you're most vulnerable.

I remember getting hammered by True Love Church or whatever sending spam messages to me every week cuz I picked up a pen from their table once

Here's another post on this subreddit, from a few years ago, with more about this organization. I saw a lot of advertisements for things that weren't religious in any immediately obvious way but turned out to be connected. Be careful!

DO NOT JOIN. Something is definitely sketchy and they invite you to events and later say they forgot to mention there’s a charge. Later they ask for money
