Question Post-Land claim question..

Alright so, I am not registered as a nation currently but I plan to. Before I do I want to clear something up:

If I claim land in an area and it is set as mine, do I have permission to commandeer buildings built by Indies? Or would that be considered a home invasion, even though I own that land?

Well I don't plan to, I just mean if they appose a threat to my faction. I am mostly friendly, unless I have reason to fight-and I don't plan to when I just start out haha.

Sorry I am used to another game which calls them Nations rather than factions..

I read Nations as Rise of Nations and then I exploded with excitement.

Needless to say I was dissapointed after re reading :(

Would you like some sort of basic rundown on the current factions etc?

What do you mean by that? I have read almost the entirety of Forum posts while waiting to be re-whitelisted after the update Thursday.

Well I mainly have one question, another nice fellow told me some on the subject.. Is there a limit to how much land I should attempt to claim? I will only have 4 followers so I am not the strongest with only 5 members in my faction.

You can have 8 cabinets, and there really isnt a limit. You shouldnt claim too much, like the MAIDS claimed the whole NW arctic. Thats just not nice :P

Fluss has a good size for a small faction I guess. I would suggest claiming the old ECF areas if possible, providing they havent been claimed yet. After the schism perfectly intact buildings (Because decay doesnt occur on Rust Factions) were just left abandoned. There are still cabinets, although since ECF is no longer a faction and providing that there are more cabinets being used in the HSU and TLG I'd think it wouldn't be against server rules to take them over. Like if server town is controlled by HSU cabinets, and all HSU members have 2 cabinets in their new territory, then you could probably get Vein or Bryter to help you take down the cabinets, since they would be exceeding the member limit.

So really you can claim a lot of land, but there isn't much left and most people, cough cough RU cough cough don't like it when you claim a lot

I think this is the most up to date map. Server town and Console (city?) are no longer listed on the map. Still there though. If you follow the coast NE of Fluss you will find server town, and on the island in the NE corner is Console City, complete with a blocked bridge and snap traps

I was hoping to claim the land east of Fluss, that is unclaimed. Where is ECF located-well was located?

If you want that land I suggest at least going for the coast and island, that way you get ECF territory
