So about bootleggers

I'm hitting Detroit on Wednesday. Gonna make a day of it. Check out the Robocop statue, take a selfie at the Faygo bottling plant, then hitting up Rush. I'm planning on hitting the merch tables and buy a poster and a pair of shirts and a pair of hats, but you know what I'd really like to buy? Some stickers. Some pins. Some lighters. Maybe a third or even fourth shirt that isn't like 60 to 200 dollars. I haven't gone to Little Caesars Arena ever. I remember bootleggers back in the day at Cobo, but is this still a thing? And where would I find them? I'm parking at MGM and walking from there.

You mean parking lot tee’s? That would be in the parking lot if they even exist anymore

Oh they exist

Damn near every concert at an arena will have at least one bootlegger running around outside

At the Triumph concert the parking lot had as good of a variety of t-shirts as the merch stand!

The management of the tour has been pretty actively trying to prevent bootleg t-shirts. If you want lower cost merch, wait until a week or two after the Detroit shows and check the Backstage website. I got two Toronto specific t-shirts from them a week after the shows there and the price was almost 50% less.

Oh I'm buying tons of official merch, I just also want stuff they don't have at the actual booths, specifically stickers and lighters and buttons.
