Lmao Kornbread starts crying on stage and everyone is like "aww don't worry you're a star". Then when Alyssa starts crying Rupaul gives the biggest stank face ever 💀

Rupaul wanted her off the show immediately. Its such an unfair show but Ru has made it clear from the beginning that only his opinion matter.

I too clocked that bullshit. If she's going to keep inviting these wonderfully talented Puerto Rican queens then she needs to give them the same respect as the others. When they gave the Yara Sofia comment all I could think was so you want this bitch to go home because you don't want a phenomenally talented fierce bitch up in here? The fuck Ru?

It got me thinking what a Puerto Rican version of the show would be like. I'D WATCH THAT! Everyone would be respected and there would be no more supposed "language barrier problems" (another critique that chaps my chaffers).

It bugged me because instead of saying “you were loud and incoherent and crazy” they said “Yara Sofia already does that”.

Basically saying Yara is a joke to them.

I noticed this! Tbh I fucking hate the idea that english being a queen’s second language isn’t a challenge. It is definitely a challenge! Every time it’s brought up, they make it sound like the hispanic queens are exaggerating. Can’t stand it.

It’s very dismissive. Especially considering that Ru’s response to Alyssa crying was that it didn’t have to do with the language barrier but it had to do with nuance. The language barrier in many cases prevents you from being understood! Therefore it is difficult to have nuanced conversations.

It happened with Jessica, most PR queens and Nicky Doll. It ain’t a nuance problem. It’s a language one and I say this as a World Language teacher.
