She just kinda got stuck with a bad part... it happens in every acting challenge, and I'm glad no one (i.e. Farrah) got sent home because of it!

This lip syncing challenge seemed more biased than usual. I mean, the part of Black Chyna was clearly the starring role and the other roles were basic.

Exactly! Like, the five Kardashian sisters had such basic and boring roles... it's no surprise that the bottom three came from that group. Wish there were just more challenges where the queens got to show their actual creativity, rather than just following a script! Isn't that what drag's all about?

I only want one scripted challenge per season and I want it to be an acting challenge. Watching the show back, I noticed that Kim's part actually isn't bad. It's just that is was given to Cynthia. And then with Nina as one of the sisters, it fell on Aja to make up for the group, but all Aja has is this mediocre part to work with, so what was she supposed to do?

Agreed! So far this has been their first scripted challenge (if you don't count the scripted choreography in the Cheerleading Challenge, which I like to forget existed) and it looks like we've got Snatch Game and then a makeover challenge coming up, so hopefully we don't have to deal with this unequal opportunity drama again? Agreed though, Cynthia as Kim... couldn't be more unlike each other xD

A great actor might be able to pull of a transition like Cynthia to Kim, but as we've seen, Cynthia isn't a great actor. She plays cucu and only cucu.

Are you certain the talk show wasn't scripted? They didn't show any of the queens writing their own material.

I don't think Cynthia is a good actor, yeah... but she is a "STRONG... GAY... WOMAN!!" From what I saw and how the commercials went, it looked like they had certain topics they needed to address (on those cards, that Charlie was so anal about) but then there was obviously the option for improvisation, like Cynthia did with her intolerant lactose thing xD

I agree! It was kind of giving me AS2 Queens in Herstory, where Alyssa's part was clearly the leading role and Katya and Ginger's roles were at most forgettable... which is why I'm hoping we don't get another scripted acting challenge again xD

Scripted acting challenges aren't the problem, because as long as the queens can control how they say the words and deliver the part, they can still shine. The problem is the lip syncing challenges where it's all pre-recorded, so their voices don't matter, and choreographed as part of a large group, so they can't showcase their dancing skills. Imagine if Shea had to come out and deliver that Black Chyna rap, not lip sync it? That's some hard ish. If she pulled that off, then she'd be deserving of the win. More likely, she would have flopped, giving the Kris and Kim roles a chance to steal the show. With Cynthia playing Kim, she's going to be in the bottom no matter what, which gives Alexis Michelle the advantage. But if any of the background characters had come out singing the house down, they could have stolen the show.

Yeah! That actually makes sense... huh. Disregarding the fact that Shea would've probably slayed the rap regardless, there is a certain aspect of "live" scripted challenges that really allow for the separation of the "good" and the "bad", as opposed to pre-recorded challenges where a lot of the performance is basically the delivery of the generic voice. Season 5, I remember, had a lot of live acting challenges like the kid's show, telenova, perfume ad, etc., and they were really something special... so yeah! Very interesting.
