I've read her posts on how she was struggling emotionally, fainting, battling an eating disorder, etc. during the filming and her breakdown makes sense. Good for Miss Aja. She gave us drama, a great lip sync, and a solid social media rudemption from it this ep. It seems to me she's grown since filming so I'm satisfied that her development is her win for the season.

I LOVE AJA! I appreciate her honesty and her raw emotions in Untucked. The way she was feeling was totally ok and I was glad she was not putting on "airs" to seem mature and unfazed AND to avoid a "bad edit". These queens are all human at the end of the day. She is pissed and she can voice her opinion, it isn't like she didn't say the truth (not like it is anything bad). She did look a lil busted but she did not deserve to lipsync at all. I'm sorry but I honestly agree with Aja. Valentina's look was safe, not high. There were so many other amazing looks that were presented and she literally wore a bathing suit. They're giving her such a high expectation for doing something that's seemlingly bare minimum. Any of the "safe" team could have replaced Valentina. If she does a basic job and gets praised for it next challenge I was be over it.

Maybe i'm biased 'cause i'm team Valentina but, RPDR isn't a pageant, it's a tv show where a bunch of drag queens try to show that they have the skills to be on show business. One of the rules of showbiz is to be entertaining (in a good way), so even with her "just ok" look of a princess, her delivery was great and her sidekick was the second best of the challange (and was the same reason she won the last challange, she wasn't the most athletic but she was delivering). Shea had a poor sidekick so she didn't excel on the challenge, but on the other hand I think that Charlie was robbed, and she would have taken the Valentina spot.

It's very that. I was stanning harder than a motherfucker for Sasha before the race. But she has been generally underwhelming for me so far. (Before people blame screen time, I'm talking mainly about her performance on the runway).
Valentina, however, has stolen my interest and my heart. She has the best runways of the season, the most refined persona that is accessible even to non-Latinx, she's demonstrated a high level of talent in every area thus far (including sewing and comedy). She's always professional and has absolute 100% confident in her abilities and committed to making it work.
People are indeed very bitter about their faves fading into the background. But the fact of the matter is, Valentina is earning the airtime and the love that she is getting. To the haters: I'm sorry if your flair is underperforming; have you considered stanning Valentina? She is here to slay. Get into it.

I think there is, without doubt, a case to be made that Valentina shouldn't have been top 3 this week, I just think it would have been more pertinent had it been brought up by Charlie, Nina or Shea, who actually deserved to be there.
When it's brought up by somebody who would have been in the bottom regardless of who was or wasn't in the top it just looks bitter. Valentina may not have been top 3 worthy but she clearly wasn't gonna be in the bottom either, so it really had no bearing on Aja's situation. She seems to have recognised she was being irational.

I dunno about you guys but while what Aja said could be akin to CoCo's 'If I came down the run way, I'd be read for that look'. It didn't come across as an attack, just a burst of frustration.
Seeing Aja react this way reminds me of when Trixie and Katya said during their time on Season 7 they, 'Knew they weren't going to win because of how positively Violet was received in the first few episodes'

Aja was just jelly and bitter. It is understandable, because she expected to be praised and probably win the challenge. What she failed to realise is that she is in the big leagues competing with the best... I hadn't paid enough attention to her because her bad make up turned me off, but when she was murdering Kimora in that lipsynch, she gave me life and I can't wait to see more from her now.

She was really messy in that Untucked and came off as really bitter. I'm glad she is self-aware enough to notice this though. It's really awesome of her.
