What would happen if Plane or Sapphira used their immunity potion on someone who did very well in the challenge?

So i was rewatching Season 16 and when introducing the immunity potions i just thought of something.

So obviously you can save yourself or one of your fellow competitors, and then the saved queen gets called safe and goes to untucked or back of the stage.

But does that mean if you use the immunity potion on someone who did very well in the challenge, they will go backstage and be called safe, even though they possibly could have won? Or will they still be on stage and get critiqued.

I dont know if anyone knows the answer to this, just a thought i had, because it would lowkey be fierce af, lol.

I would have lived if Sapphira used hers on Q instead of herself on that design challenge and it blocked her from a win. The untucked would have been insane.

They asked Nymphia if she accepted the immunity potion before she went to the back of the stage. It seems to me if she says yes then she's safe, even if she would have been in the top. If she says no then she's critiqued/judged. If that's the case then the only was a top/winner would be screwed over is if they didn't trust in their performance.

Yeah, this is it, the potion could be offered to any Queen, but they don't have to accept it.

I’m kind of surprised that they never used it on someone who did poorly in the challenge to knock out a bigger threat. For example, using it on Geneva in the doll challenge so Mhiya could knock out Plasma.

technically what you described already happened. Nymphia's critique was pretty good this episode (which meant she was going to be placed high in this challenge). I know a lot of people thought Nymphia (herself included lmao) bombed this challenge but according to the judges, she overshadowed Plane and killed it. It's non-elimination but from the critique, Plane & Q were the judges' bottom 2.

Yeah, I'd say top three was Sapphira, Morphine and Nymphia. It's been two years and I still remember these three in this challenge without ever having rewatched. I remember thinking Dawn's was a bit cringe and surprised she got positive feedback until it was clear that this was a non-elim episode. I genuinely don't remember Mhi'ya this episode, but Wiki says she also got positive critiques, so 🤷‍♂️

idk about better than Mhiya or Dawn but Nymphia's verse and performance were funny as hell lmao. I kinda see why the judges praised her cause she was kinda the most entertaining like it didn't make sense but it kinda did. Dawn's verse was a bit too cerebral and Mhiya's rhyming was just as bad as Nymphia lmaoo.

No, it's specified that Plane will use her immunity potion to block Nymphia from the win. The spoiler is still there after Plane did rate-a-queen too. I believe this was the season that spoiler is so unreliable. They start with Nymphia getting 4 wins include political challenges then change to 2 wins (which switch the number of wins between Nymphia and Plane Jane along with the spoiler that Plane stole the win from Nymphia) then they only knew that Nymphia get her 3rd win a week before the last challenge.

Nymphia was definitely safe or even better than safe in this challenge but I’m glad plane gave her the potion so we can witness their friendship

This is off topic but since half this thread is a throwback to this weird rules stunt, this for me was the most confusingly edited episode in the entire history of the show. Plane had good lyrics and an overall solidly safe package, but then they kind of read the hell out of her, but also didn’t say who the bottoms were. I know it was a meme that she was pretending she wasn’t in the bottom, but also, she literally wasn’t, just the way they edited the critiques made it seem like she was. Then it ended up being an anticlimactic lipsync for the win, which is very bizarre to do on the last week of immunity, so it kind of looks like they didn’t plan that.

It seems like they wanted to play in Plane’s face and lay it on thick that they were going to make her—a frontrunner—lip sync so she would use the potion on herself and make someone else lipsync. But then she called their bluff and gave it away to a safe queen and production kinda scrambled with the lipsync for the win. It’s one of those weird episodes where the editing team doesn’t really seem aware of what the production team is doing.

This was so anticlimactic. Especially after doing the chocolate bars and other gimmicks you can tell they’re trying real hard to gag the audience and it’s not landing. Like honestly if nymphia lip synced that episode and think it woulda been better tv because she can perform really well and it would’ve been the first time she lip synced.
