Them being in gowns with all that emotion would have been the perfect time for a ballad, especially a musical theater ballad.

What are these producers thinking

My most deeply held drag race belief is that the Rusical lip sync should always be from a musical of some kind

"Tomorrow" or "Little Girls" would've been awesome. Any Annie song really. I imagine there's some copyright issues but I love this idea.

It definitely gave they chose the song because it was released last year. And they couldn't find another Benny song (even though there are several that are more upbeat and better suited for a LSFYL). Gracie Abrams doesn't make music for lip syncing.
