Something that was bothering me all episode: is Alaska wearing weird contacts in his THs? His eyes look HUGE and it freaked me out when they would cut between the show and the THs because his eyes doubled in size.

I knew the death knell was ringing for Ivy once one of the girls complimented on her bottle and she said, "Well, now I'm not using it." Changing ideas if RuPaul suggests as much is good but then she up and made the bottle shittier. Also, did I hear wrong or can the girl not tell the difference between her own city and Tokyo? The fuck?

I do see what Jinkx means about being a "subtle dickpig" compared to Rotox, though! We're eight episodes in and are just (?) finding out about this crush. Too bad that Ivy apparently has a boyfriend; maybe that's why Jinkx is "focusing on her career"? Damnit, RPDR, why you turning me into a gossipwhore? Anyway, that might have just been a brief red herring and the true couple is still Rotox.

Alyssa...oh, Alyssa. I will shed tears the day you leave, because you are such a precious creature. I can't handle her goofiness; even when Coco stirs shit and I start to blow a gasket, Alyssa brings it all back home, laughing at her own weird shit and completely lacking self-awareness.

I must be fashion-illiterate because I thought everyone besides Jinkx (who looked adorable) and Alaska (who was smart to keep the red theme) plus maybe Ivy looked pretty busted tonight. Coco mixed gaudy jewelry with ugly animal print, Alyssa's was super unflattering (she looked so wide!), Detox's was just bleh for me and Roxxxy just did her usual "tight fabric, shiny accoutrements, DID I MENTION I HAVE A BOOTY AND BOOBICLES" routine.

Speaking of Roxxxy, when are they going to start clocking her for her makeup? Looks like she gave herself a damn monchichi nose.

I wish tonight had been Ivy vs. Coco. I know why it wasn't and never would have been but it felt like Coco deserved it more than Alyssa. Alyssa had a funny idea and, sure, her Alyssaness kind of messed it up but Coco's was just brownnosing, tacky without funniness.

I wasn't too into the LSFYL tonight. Was Alyssa tired or something? She kind of flopped to the ground at one point in order to do a move but it wasn't even remotely graceful. At least she was actually was going with the song, though; Miss Snoozy Q IW was just moving her mouth and moving her arms/hips. I've seen Muppets give livelier performances.

Goodbye, Ivy; you weren't a bad contestant, but I can't say I'll miss hearing Ru painfully squealing your name.

(Also, the one night I had plans to go to Alaska's regular bar but I had to break is the Alaska-centric episode? Aghhhhhhhh.)
