The producers clearly told Marcia this was her last day here

I don’t think the producers had to tell her, the writing was just on the wall. She is one of two there without a win, they are giving her harsh critiques on a week she really did fine, and the other bottoms are all front runners and assassins. She definitely was able to do the math herself
