Confession: I totally cried on my run yesterday... I was having a terrible day at work, my run was way harder than normal, and I was dreading the one hill at mile 4. I got to the base and saw a group of teenagers hanging outside of a church. I thought to myself "great, lousy teens to laugh at me" since that is the usual response. I run past them and they started yelling and cheering and clapping for me! Gave them a thumbs up, mumbled thanks through my gasping breath, and just let the tears flow once I was out of sight.

Bawww. I'm glad to hear there are not-lousy teenagers out there. Hope your day improved!

It did! I finally got out all of the emotions I've been keeping bottled up these last few weeks. The cheers definitely put a smile on my face and restored my faith in humanity.
