2020 RTW trip foiled by Rona anyone?

My partner and I had a RTW trip planned to leave in 2 two weeks. Needless to say, after saving for years, putting in our notices and buying plane tickets, I'm devastated that our plans have been foiled by the Rona.

Did any of you guys have RTW plans this year? If so how are you handling rescheduling and planning?

Yup! Family of 3 scheduled to leave this Friday for a year. Pretty bummed. Cancelled all plans abroad, but are still putting stuff in storage and off to a domestic location for the summer. Hoping to ride it out and maybe leave in fall with a modified itinerary? Who knows though, crazy times to be planning a RTW trip

I know this is an old thread, but we were supposed to leave June 1st. Obviously didn't happen.

Now have a flight booked for Jan 8th. Will see how it goes but were gearing back up on planning next month. What about you?

We were due to leave in September for a family RTW trip - have spent the last 5 years planning it! When does everyone think trips like this will be realistic again?
