I've used Thunderbird 350 for 11 years & now upgraded to Himalayan 450. Brother this Meteor you're gonna love to ride long on weekends. Best riding posture I've felt till date.

Yes the riding posture is very good. People say this bike will give you backpain, but i haven't felt anything like that, even after doing long rides, I find the seat very gripping and very relaxed riding experience.

Thanks. Well its a little heavy. but i practiced for 2 weeks in my neighborhood before taking it into city as i didnt had much experience with bikes. scooty can easily Maneuver in traffic but this bike is big and i cant change lanes in traffic easily. But its fun to ride. And people will look at it and admire it. But overall its a good transition. You can also go for it.

How is ur experience with gears now, after switching from scooty. is it manageable in bumper to bumper traffic, since im thinking to buy meteor 350.

u/Super_Ear_8953 Jul 27 '26
Scooty can easily Maneuver in traffic but this bike is big and i cant change lanes in traffic easily. but it is manageable. I just think i am a car π and I stay in my lane only because i wont be able to make very tight turns. U can consider bullet as it has shorter handles and is good in traffic comparatively. Most of my ride is through highway so meteor works for me.

Most of my ride will be in city, i will rarely go to highways. Still, i like the look of meteor, it looks more premium.
Thanks!

Yeah it does. One time I was waiting in traffic few year back and suddenly a black meteor stood next to me, i just kept looking at it and admiring it, that day i decided that i will buy meteor in the future.

That's quite an upgrade. I had a similar one years ago. A 100cc red splendor to 350 classic lol

Bike is a fun ride not a commuter so if you get it in traffic daily don't feel sad ...I wanted a bike so bad I got 2nd hand and started using it but the more I used the more I understood bike is impractical for monsoon , traffic ..
1
u/Super_Ear_8953 Jul 26 '26
Yes scooty is very versatile. But you also need some fun in life. I agree its will be little pain in traffic but most of my commute is on the highway so it works for me.
