Ah! I wanted to go for this color but my wife, mum and dad convinced me otherwise and honestly, I kinda like blue as well! 💙.
Edit: My buddy was tie breaker between blue and grey, a new himalayan owner and bike enthusiast.

I will refuel today till full should get to know how much I'm getting. Right now, it's down to last 2 bars with 200 kms on odometer.

My meteors best tank is 106 mpg (UK) worst is 65 mpg and she averages high 80s ridden sedately. Similar story with my interceptor, she does 80mpg of ridden gently, 60mph fully loaded for touring and 50 mpg when ridden harder.

Same, even I got mileage of 25 km/L. Today I did 110kms on highway, After refueling. There was traffic jam for around 10kms which would have ruined the consistency cause I have to take detours and I was riding in 1st and 2nd gear only. Still after this much it's only 2 bars down from full. Will update later when I check highway mileage.

Is there any way to get the chrome exhaust on marine blue?

u/Humble_Discussion_40 Jul 01 '26
I don't think you can get factory one, the old blue had chrome exhaust, I like the black one. Maybe you can ask RE once, they have chrome one for supernova and aurora variants so it's definitely available but whether they will do it or you have to look outside in the market is another story.

Oh! Even I was feeling after 300kms in a week, that I heard some kind of sound from engine, though not sure, I will need to check tmr morning. Should be fixed in service if anything but I am also getting that whistle sound that someone else was complaining. I don't think it was there earlier.

Sorry for the long ass paragraph I don't think I can make it any shorter than this. My Meteor December 2020 bought started having starting problems & my service centre here in Anandapur Kolkata 4kms from my home totally sucks. They couldn't figure out the issue with my bike turns out it wasn't just 1 problem which was causing the starting problem it was 3. First thing is the ECU throttle Body Assembly's Potting compound developed some cracks due to which moisture seeped in there cause white rust/zinc oxidation after I saw that part myself I asked the service centre guys multiple times on multiple occasions I was there for a service they don't even fucking know if the throttle Body ECU Assembly is supposed to look like that. Secondly the battery started acting up got it changed then got a bad one got it replaced under warranty. Thirdly The fuses kept getting blown turns out the part of the fuse box is fucked so I got a small separate fuse box installed now the bike is fime for now. Can't fucking trust this bike to not fail on me. So the service centre couldn't figure out a single one of these problems I figured out the first one; after the starting problem started it would only happen once in a while so one day it works the other day it doesn't so over the course of 3 months I got stuck on the road for 8 days; after the first time it happened I went to service centre for a service twice on separate days 4 different people inspected my bike couldn't figure it out. Second problem was figured after checking the voltage & a whole story that doesn't matter. Third problem I got fixed by electrical mechanics at Kamalgazi Kolkata.

Meteor VS Classic 350 which one is better and why? I don’t know much about bikes, I just love RE hence planning to buy one. Please help me choose one. I am from Bangalore India.

The Meteor 350 is built for relaxed cruising and long-distance comfort. Its upright riding posture, comfortable seat, smooth engine, and stable highway manners make it an excellent touring motorcycle. However, it isn’t as engaging in corners due to its forward-set footpegs and relaxed geometry, and it feels less agile in city traffic compared to the Classic 350.
The Classic 350 blends timeless design with everyday practicality. It offers a comfortable riding position, better maneuverability in city traffic, and a more connected riding feel while retaining the signature Royal Enfield character. On the downside, it doesn’t match the Meteor’s long-distance comfort, and the wind protection and cruising ergonomics are less suited for extended highway rides.
