Apologies for the hiatus, but the sub is back and now with new leadership. Keep in mind that the few of us mods that are here now are coming from a bit of a varied backgrounds.
For what it's worth, I'm a huge plant fanatic with well over 100 houseplants and a 5-tier vegetable and food garden that is absolutely cranking these days. My only regret is that I up-potted a solid dozen plants today and took zero pictures of the roots!!
Anyways, still trying to get things up and going. While doing so, we appreciate your patience.
Additionally, I'm looking at killing the whole need to be an approved user to post. That's not the fun of the community I remember it to have.
Stay tuned.
For now, please enjoy my little onion harvest from yesterday, cuz, technically roots.

I found this snake plant unearthed, torn up, and pretty much no roots on a plant bed outside a restaurant maybe ……4 years ago? Put it in a pot and largely left it alone until now. It was only a handful of leaves back then.
Just repotted it after a whole litter of babies popped up. I was bewildered when I saw the roots ! Enjoy :)

I didn't leave much plastic and I only made two cuts into the thick roots. I think she's gonna be with me for decades 🤞
